The Beeginning
This journey started in the summer of 2013 when my husband, who is a professional winemaker here in Sonoma county, saw a book about beekeeping and without a second thought bought it for me. He had heard over the years my desire to keep bees and was now ready to support my passion. Little did he know of the wild ride he was going to be taken on!
Other Interests
Although I do enjoy all things bees I also have other loves:
~I have a genuine appreciation of history and even went so far as to earn my BA in that discipline.
~My soul is soothed by being able to sit at a piano and play or to have the good fortune to listen to someone play the piano, live, just a few feet away.
~Have I mentioned that I love cooking? Among other things, my husband and I will cook together nearly every night and it is one of the most treasured times of the day for me.

One does not go through life with out the love and support of those that choose to believe in your dreams.
